Audition Information

Initial Auditions

Open auditions are being held virtually. Please submit a video recording of a 1 to 3 minute dramatic monologue. While memorized is always best, you may absolutely read from it provided you still act towards your camera. If you have one, you are also welcome to include a brief story about a personal supernatural experience. The deadline for submitting audition tapes is 5 PM on July 26, 2026. Actors should expect to hear from the casting team no later than Tuesday, July 28th.

Callbacks

Callbacks will be conducted in groups and will last approximately 15 – 20 minutes. You may be asked to stay and read with a subsequent group; however, if you need to leave, it will not negatively impact your audition. Callbacks are on August 1, 2026 at Chapel Hill School of Musical Arts in Chapel Hill at 1829 E Franklin Street, Bld 500. They will begin at 6pm, but call times will be staggered to reduce downtime for actors.

Role Information

Storytelling First!

We believe that storytelling is at its best when it reflects the full depth and diversity of human experience. For this production, auditioners will be considered without regard to race, color, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, or gender expression. All roles are open to any actor who can effectively embody the heart and spirit of the character.
